ROM-Recover
Cycling on a home trainer without resistance can speed up recovery after knee or (ACL) ligament surgery. This is equally true for recovery after a leg or knee prosthetic operation.
The ROM-Recover allows you to actively adjust your range of motion or bend. With the minimal bend of 70 degrees, you can already complete the pedal rotation. The beauty of the solution is that the leg extension remains normal, but your knee is required to bend less to complete the pedal rotation.
The ROM-recover is adjustable as your recovery progresses, form 70-to-110-degree bend.

Make the full pedal rotation immediately after surgery
With the ROM-Recover you can start to rehabilitate almost immediately on your home trainer.
The ROM-Recover allows you to maintain the correct cycling position including the saddle height and with the balls of your feet firmly on the pedals. This is important to ensure joints are not over exerted and you can enjoy relaxed cycling as you recover.
The ROM-recover is sometimes confused with the Crank shortener (adjustable pedal). An adjustable pedal reduces the required leg extension as opposed to the ROM-Recover which maintains a complete leg extension.
Installation
- ROM-Recover fits on every home trainer and is easy to install yourself. You install the solution against the existing crank of your home trainer.
- For the correct installation we would like to know the brand and type of your home trainer. With this information we can determine if an extra pedal is required.

You can rent the ROM-Recover for your left leg (ROM-Recover, left) or for your right leg (ROM-Recover, right).
